After going to Chris Brown’s Power 106 private concert, I realized that Chris Brown can make anyone giddy. Alongside about 900 teenagers, I have to admit, when I got there I felt a little old. Waiting for Chris to come onstage I felt as if we were at a pep rally shouting for the varsity basketball team to play. There were excited teens everywhere, pushing, shoving, and but most of all, excited to see Chris hit the stage.

After the long and sweaty wait Chris finally came out. As soon as he came out he had everyone screaming, including myself, while he sang one of his hits from his sophomore album, Exclusive. With his smooth dance moves and flirty smirks he makes to the audience, I felt right at home with every screaming teenage girl in the room. As the concert went on, Chris showed his more mature side, singing his latest hit, “With You.” He had every girl in the room believing he was singing to her (including me), while performing some of his new dance moves. He also gave an ode to Kanye West by singing their song “Down,” which again, had everyone belting out the lyrics with him.

Although the concert was short (Chris only sang about five songs), I can tell his sophomore album is going to be another hit and that his upcoming tour is going to be amazing. As Chris matures he only gets better, and his talents seem to shine brighter with every performance. Chris proves that he can entertain to a huge variety of people; you’d be crazy not to think this kid is talented. If you get the chance to see him perform I’d definitely take it, but watch out — on the way you may get a little giddy.
