Ticket Stubs: Ashley Tisdale, Ted Leo, H.I.M., Duran Duran
- Ashley Tisdale played three songs at a Kansas City, Missouri, mall, drawing “more police than I have seen at many death metal concerts.” And although it was an event squarely aimed at the kiddies, leave it to the adults to almost ruin the thing. (StephanMiller.com)
- You know things are going your way when your evening class is canceled in time for you to score Ted Leo tickets and you easily navigate through L.A. traffic and even find free parking right by the venue. (Avium)
- Blogger “curiousinterest” felt “like a kid again” at last night’s H.I.M. concert. “I jumped and screamed and sang and headbanged, and pumped my fist through the entire performance. … Sad to say the only people my age who were at this concert were escorting their kids and didnt seem to be enjoying themselves as much as I was.” (LiveJournal)
- Duran Duran showcased their new album last night, much to the chagrin of blogger “primeaufreak,” who thought they were aiming a little young with their Timberlake/Timbaland sound that even included beatboxing. Luckily, after an intermission the boys dragged out all the old hits. (*BOGO*’s Site)

I heard Duran Duran’s new album as well…I disagree they’re aiming too young. 2 sounds off an album that contains 12 songs, many of those songs don’t have the same vibe as Skin Divers and Nite Runner. They’re marketing and promotion sure isn’t geared towards the young crowd, perhaps it should be actually as the new tunes are quite solid.
