Ticket Stubs: Hannah Montana, Pinback, Eagles, Lordi
- Take one jaded, self-described “veteran rocker” incapable of tactfully explaining how long he’s liked Def Leppard, and then deposit him amongst thousands of screaming, screeching Hannah Montana fans and what do you get? Complaints about $35 T-shirts, parents who send their kids to concerts in limos and the lack of alcoholic beverages. (King5.com)
- Intricate pop melodies, “Guitar Hero” jokes and “Star Wars” clothing — ahh, the things you’ll find at a Pinback show. Not to mention the guy in the front row making bird signs at singer Rob Crow … or the guy in the balcony shouting out for someone to kill the bird-sign guy. (CDReviews.com)
- The Eagles landed at Los Angeles’ newest downtown venue, the Nokia Theatre Live, and turned in a “fantastic” show, with some of the proceeds benefiting California fire victims. The Dixie Chicks opened, and much to the relief of the blogger behind West Coast Catholic, they stuck to the music and avoided politics. (West Coast Catholic)
- So, how are Lordi, the costumed metal band that won the Eurovision contest? “One word: Horrible.” (Brooklyn Vegan)

Screaming Hannah Montana fans (and their parents) are far more annoying than a Cannibal Corpse concert could ever be. Good article!
