Not Nic Cage style, but rather with a strange mix of emotions — sort of bummed to be leaving this oasis of excess, but also really excited to get back to the friendly confines of Brooklyn, where I can at least eat something not available in buffet form.

I’m at McCarran airport, watching pilots play the slot machines. I was in line a minute ago with Cassie and Mark Ronson. Everyone seems to be moving a bit slower today, probably suffering from the same VMA/Vegas hangover that I am.

This past week has been tiring, exciting and confusing — often at the same time. But it’s also been a lot of fun. Whaddya say, MTV? Same place, same time next year?
